Trimble showcases next-gen solutions for Civil Engineering & Construction Segment at EXCON 2019

Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) a leading innovator of hardware and software solutions for civil engineering and construction sector showcased a forward-thinking continuum of solutions and services at the recently held EXCON 2019, South Asia’s largest Construction Equipment exhibition.
Commenting on the occasion Mr. Rajan Aiyer, Vice President & Managing Director, Trimble India and SAARC region said “EXCON is one of the largest construction equipment trade fairs where we witness global participation, and we at Trimble are extremely proud to be part of the 10th edition. Our presence at the event reaffirms our dedication towards empowering the civil engineering and construction industry to construct with confidence—from concept to design, to build and maintain.”
Emphasizing on the company’s commitment towards India’s infrastructure growth story Mr. Didier Colin, Director of Sales & Distribution, EAME and APAC said “We have seen significant infrastructure spent from the Indian Government in the development of roads, highways, airports, ports and other areas in the past five years and there is again a commitment of about US USD 1.4 trillion spend over next five years. We are excited by the opportunities this market presents to us.”
As the global leader in advanced technologies solutions in linear infrastructure projects, Trimble’s goal is to play a key role in the transformation of Indian civil engineering and construction industry as it evolves to compete more effectively and profitably; execute iconic projects that showcase India’s prowess and create more value for all key stakeholders.
With an aim to provide every contractor the confidence to get the job done right—on time and under budget—the company displayed a holistic range of solutions and services for every phase of a linear infrastructure project at the 10th edition of the largest construction equipment trade show.
Earthworks Solutions: Trimble offers a complete line of grade control systems—from laser or sonic-based through to 3D, these rugged systems are easy to use, fully upgradeable and flexible enough to meet a wide range of application and jobsite requirements. The Trimble® Earthworks Grade Control Platform is a next generation machine control system that optimizes a mixed fleet for an integrated site solution.
Paving Solutions: Trimble offers productive, integrated and innovative solutions for the complete paving job site to keep the contractor on track throughout the project lifecycle. From milling to paving to compaction, Trimble solutions for paving can help contractors ensure quality, reduce expensive material usage, and pave to the tight accuracies required by today’s government agencies. Reliability is critical in paving because paving work has to be on-going until it’s completed. Hence Trimble components are built to withstand the heat, steam, tamping and vibration that are regular on pavers, milling machines and compactors.
Connected Site: Trimble Connected Site Solution allows contractors to create 3D construction models, perform data preparations and takeoff, wirelessly sync data, monitor site productivity, and manage fleets and assets.
The 3D design model created in the office can be sent to machines and controllers in the field, increasing efficiency, reducing rework and saving money. Additionally, a complete view of site productivity, including material quantity and movement, volume and compaction data, and fleet and asset management information can be shared across the organisation to enable rapid decision-making and better communication.
Trimble LOADRITE Payload Management: Trimble LOADRITE onboard weighing systems ensure optimal loading to maximize every truck haul to get the job done quicker. With the ability to accurately measure the weight of each bucket and calculate the total weight loaded onto each truck, the system enables operators to increase productivity and efficiency for excavating, creating more efficient mass haul.
